Defend Your Child With A Strong Jacksonville Juvenile Defense Lawyer

Kids make mistakes, and that’s part of life, but don’t let this one cost them their future. Juvenile crimes can come with consequences that deny your child certain opportunities in life, like going to their dream college. If your child is facing juvenile crime charges, they deserve an attorney who can fight to protect their best interests.

We fight so hard against these and any other charges that your child may be facing because we know the consequences of convictions.

What Legal Punishments Could Juveniles Face In Florida?

The severity of the charge often determines the type of punishment they receive. Common consequences that a juvenile may face include probation, house arrest, commitment to a Juvenile Detention Facility, or, if charged as an adult, time in prison. It is our goal to minimize or eliminate the consequences of your child’s juvenile charges.

Will Someone Charged With Underage Drinking Automatically Lose Their License?

A law enforcement officer will suspend the driving privilege of a Minor who has a blood-alcohol or breath-alcohol level of 0.02 or higher for a period of six months for the first offense.  If the charges are not the first offense, the suspension could last up to one year.

Law enforcement will also suspend the license of a Minor who has refused to submit to a breath or blood test for a period of 1 year for a first refusal or for a period of 18 months if his or her driving privilege has been suspended for a prior refusal.
